Gu Xuan became the Innate Divine Being Qing Xuan in the Primordial World, where he forged a path through the World Dao and joined Qing Yi in reaching Great Luo. After declining the Dragon Race’s offer to join, Qing Xuan and Qing Yi left the Blue Star researchers treating the Dragon Race, rather than Qing Xuan, as their best first-contact target.

• Gu Xuan’s passage to Douluo Continent collapsed, and he awakened in Buzhou Mountain as an Innate Divine Being, eventually taking the name Qing Xuan and attaining Early Taiyi Golden Immortal.
• Qing Xuan traveled east, fought Fierce Beasts, met Hongjun, and later found the Creation Green Lotus at Buzhou Mountain.
• Qing Xuan helped the Creation Green Lotus transform into Qing Yi, then refined a lotus platform into his world as she completed her transformation.
• Qing Xuan, Qing Yi, and Hongjun discussed their different Daos as Qing Xuan evolved his world and Qing Yi reached Middle Taiyi Golden Immortal, and news of Shen Ni’s fall ended the Fierce Beast Tribulation.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi restored an Ancestral Vein and gained the Eastern Green Lotus Treasure-Colored Banner, then attained Great Luo through their respective paths of world and creation.
• Yinglong and Qiuniu approached Qing Xuan and Qing Yi, invited them to join the Dragon Race, and offered resources and a chance to meet Ancestor Dragon.
• Qing Xuan refused to bind their Fate Aura to the Dragon Race or join its coming struggles, and he and Qing Yi departed despite Yinglong’s warning.
• Blue Star researchers judged the Dragon Race a better first-contact target than Qing Xuan, while Su Qingxue worried that Qing Xuan’s avoidance of powerful allies could affect their future together.

Qing Xuan and Qing Yi gathered treasures, uncovered Luohou’s plan to channel destruction through the western Earth Veins, and prepared for the three-clan war. The Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin forces began their final battle as Luohou’s buried Demon Marks ignited in the west.

• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi entered the sealed North Sea Ancient Battlefield, defeated the Dragon Race Great Luo, and Qing Xuan absorbed the Chaos Pearl Fragment.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi claimed the Sea-Calming Divine Pearls, then discovered and destroyed Luohou’s World-Destroying Black Lotus near an East Sea Sea Eye.
• Qing Xuan, Qing Yi, and Zhen Yuanzi traced Luohou’s demonic seals through the western Earth Veins and planted hidden contingencies in branch veins.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi discovered the Hongmeng Measuring Heaven Ruler, found the Three Immortal Islands, and gathered treasures before establishing a sanctuary on Purple Emperor Star.
• Qing Xuan, Qing Yi, and Minghe broke the Blood Sea formation, claiming the Karma Fire Red Lotus and the twin swords Yuantu and Abi.

Qing Xuan and Qing Yi witnessed the Heavenly Dao’s birth, then pursued treasures and deepened ties with other Innate Divine Beings. After gathering several banners and reviving the Gourd Vine, they headed south for the Earthly Flame Light Flag and intervened when a young girl was pursued by a Daoist.

• The Heavenly Dao emerged, drew out the three tribes’ accumulated Cause and Effect, and the Dragon Race, Phoenix Clan, and Qilin Race suffered devastating losses as Luohou and Hongjun’s battle ended with Hongjun victorious.
• Hongjun later visited Qing Xuan and Qing Yi, gave them the Qiankun Cauldron and Godslayer Spear in return for protecting the western Earth Veins, and announced his Dao lecture at Zixiao Palace.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi found the Enlightenment Tea Tree and claimed the Xuanyuan Water-Control Flag after Qing Xuan repelled the Three Pure Ones.
• At Zixiao Palace, Qing Xuan and Qing Yi attended Hongjun’s lecture, then met Queen Mother of the West and compared their Daos with her at West Kunlun.
• At Buzhou Mountain, Qing Xuan and Qing Yi claimed the Dark-Cyan Gourd and Gourd Vine as Qing Xuan defeated Kunpeng, Jieyin, Zhunti, and other challengers, then helped Nuwa consider how to give created beings lasting life.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi returned to Purple Star, replanted the Enlightenment Tea Tree and Gourd Vine, and later traded future gourds and a promise of aid with Queen Mother of the West for the Plain-Colored Cloud Realm Banner.
• Queen Mother of the West told Qing Xuan and Qing Yi that Yuanfeng had taken the Earthly Flame Light Flag to Undying Volcano, and they set out south.
• A young girl asked Qing Yi for shelter after taking the Mystic Light Ruler, and Qing Xuan froze the void and severed the pursuing Daoist’s control of his mana and Taiyi Dao Fruit.

Qing Xuan obtained the Earthly Flame Light Flag, took Kong Xuan as his disciple, and prepared two mortal bodies with Qing Yi. They left their true bodies behind and returned to Blue Star, where Gu Xuan resumed life at Linjiang Academy with Qing Lian.

• Qing Xuan defeated Eastern King and six Great Luo with one palm, then traded with Yuanfeng for the Earthly Flame Light Flag by agreeing to protect the Phoenix bloodline and accept Kong Xuan as his disciple.
• Qing Xuan brought Kong Xuan to Purple Star, gave her the Twelfth-Grade World-Cleansing White Lotus, and taught her until she reached Taiyi.
• At the second Zixiao Palace sermon, Hongjun taught the Three Corpses Severing Method and appointed Eastern King and Queen Mother of the West as chiefs of the male and female immortals.
• Kong Xuan visited Nuwa at Phoenix Perch Mountain, then returned to Purple Star, where Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi reported that Eastern King had likely gained the Dragon Race’s support.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi arranged for Nuwa to help create ordinary mortal bodies, then sealed the bodies within Qing Xuan’s inner world.
• Qing Xuan and Qing Yi entered the mortal bodies and crossed to Blue Star, leaving their true bodies and the Firmament’s anchor behind as Gu Xuan and Qing Yi appeared at Linjiang Academy.
• Zhou Ruolan questioned Gu Xuan about his return, while he claimed the transmission passage had weakened and that he and Qing Lian had waited for it to stabilize.
• Qing Lian registered at the academy and chose to stay with Gu Xuan, who kept his student status temporarily despite losing access to his resources.
