  • Nuwa declined to join any faction, and Fuxi chose to meet Bai Ze and the clans before deciding whether to take part.
  • After leaving Phoenix Perch Mountain, Di Jun told Bai Ze that the clans could begin preparing and formally adopt the name Monster.

Ch. 127Very well, try taking one more step forward

Bai Ze led three aquatic clans south from the Northern Dark Sea, but Kunpeng blocked their passage and challenged Di Jun’s claim to them. Taiyi defeated Kunpeng with the Chaos Bell, opening the route south and leaving Fuxi and Kong Xuan to reflect on the gulf between their cultivation and that of top-tier Great Luo cultivators.

  • Bai Ze led three aquatic clans toward the south while Fuxi, Qing Xuan, and Qing Yi watched from an icy cliff.
  • Kunpeng emerged from the Northern Dark Sea and demanded to know why Di Jun was taking people who lived under his guidance.

  • Di Jun declared that he would take the clans, and Taiyi confronted Kunpeng with the Chaos Bell.
  • Taiyi shattered Kunpeng’s manifestations of the Northern Dark Sea, defeated him, and opened the sea route south.
  • Fuxi recognized how much Taiyi’s mastery had advanced, while Kong Xuan watched the clash and felt the distance between her cultivation and theirs.

Ch. 128The Demon Race was founded, and the Immortal Court made its move

Di Jun and Taiyi founded the Demon Race by uniting the fate auras of thirty-seven tribes, including the Cangze Lineage. The Eastern King responded by moving ahead with the Immortal Court’s plans and ordered the Dragon Race to pressure Cangze’s members who remained in the Four Seas.

  • Qing Xuan, Qing Yi, and Kong Xuan arrived at the Northern Mountain Plain, where Bai Ze had gathered thirty-seven tribes for Di Jun and Taiyi.
  • A Cangze elder told Fuxi that he had refused a Dragon Envoy’s demand to take Cangze people and had brought the Dragon Race’s conscription token north.

  • The Dragon Race’s decree selected Cangze clansmen for another attempt to suppress the East Sea Tide Eye, and a Great Luo arrived to accuse the clans of destroying dragon markings and submitting to another clan.
  • The white-haired elder argued that Cangze had already repaid its debt after sacrificing thousands of clansmen to suppress seven Tide Eyes.
  • The Dragon Race’s Great Luo declared that the absent clan leader’s punishment would fall on the elder and began uprooting Cangze’s Water Veins, fate aura, and living beings with his dragon claw.
  • A bell chime shattered the dragon markings and chains, and Taiyi arrived from the north carrying the Chaos Bell and declared that he had given the Cangze clans their support.
  • The Dragon Race’s Great Luo raised a domain of countless dragons and challenged Taiyi, questioning whether the Chaos Bell let him disregard the Four Seas.

Taiyi defeated a Dragon Race Great Luo at Cangze and declared its clans part of the Demon Race, but the Eastern King arrived with seven other Great Luo and founded the Immortal Court. Taiyi withdrew with Cangze under the Demon Race’s protection, leaving the Immortal Court and Demon Race as rival powers.

  • The Immortal Court gained merit and unified the Fate Aura of the Eastern King’s seven Great Luo, allowing him to stand against Taiyi and the Chaos Bell.
  • Taiyi recalled the Chaos Bell, marked Cangze’s ancestral stele with a Golden Crow sigil, and left with Cangze’s people under the Demon Race’s protection.

The Immortal Court gained access to Four Seas resources and prepared to host the ceremony a hundred years later with Candle Dragon and eight Dragon Race Great Luos attending.

  • Candle Dragon visited the Three Immortal Islands, and Eastern King told him that Di Jun and Taiyi had strengthened the Heavenly Court’s position.

Ch. 138Six seats of Sagehood, Hong Yun's crisis

At the Third Sermon in Zixiao Palace, Hongjun explained the Saintly Dao and distributed six strands of primordial violet qi as foundations for Sagehood. After Eastern King pleaded for the last strand, it flew to Hong Yun, leaving the other claimants empty-handed.

  • Hongjun taught the assembled divine beings about harmonizing their Daos with the Heavenly Dao, while Qing Xuan and Qing Yi gained insights into their own cultivation.
  • Hongjun named Taiqing, Yuanshi, and Tongtong as direct disciples and gave each a strand of primordial violet qi.

Ch. 140A Forlorn Divine Being with No Path Ahead

After Hongjun distributed all seven strands of primordial violet qi without giving one to Qing Xuan, Su Qingxue heard Tang Yao argue that Qing Xuan’s future had ended while his own path to becoming a God-King remained open. Su Qingxue still intended to visit the Purple Star, but she was left wondering whether she would meet a divine being with no path ahead.

  • Students at Linjiang Advanced Transcendent Academy discussed how Hong Yun received the final strand of primordial violet qi instead of Qing Xuan or Qing Yi, and Su Qingxue listened as she left class.
  • Zhou Ruolan took Su Qingxue to the reception hall, where Tang Yao arrived after completing his divine inheritance and forming his divine body.
  • Tang Yao asked whether Su Qingxue still planned to visit the Purple Star, and she confirmed that she did.
  • Tang Yao claimed Qing Xuan could never attain sagehood without primordial violet qi and said his own path to the God-King summit had only begun.
  • Tang Yao left the hall with the academy officials, while Su Qingxue looked toward Qing Xuan and wondered whether his path had truly ended.

Ch. 141Qing Yi Subdues Jieyin and Zhunti

Qing Yi claimed the Wuji Apricot-Yellow Banner after defeating Jieyin, Zhunti, and other divine beings who tried to seize it. As Qing Xuan, Qing Yi, Zhen Yuanzi, and Hong Yun left the Treasure Distribution Cliff, Kunpeng appeared and blocked their way to the Primordial World, fixing his gaze on Hong Yun.

  • Zhen Yuanzi and Hong Yun asked Qing Xuan and Qing Yi to travel with them to the Treasure Distribution Cliff.
  • Qing Yi reached for the Wuji Apricot-Yellow Banner, but Jieyin and Zhunti blocked her and attacked while other divine beings tried to take the treasure.

  • Qing Xuan, Qing Yi, Zhen Yuanzi, and Hong Yun left the cliff after the other divine beings departed with their treasures.
  • Kunpeng spread mysterious water and fierce winds across the path to the Primordial World and confronted the group while watching Hong Yun.

Ch. 142The deadly siege of Hong Yun

Kunpeng, the Eastern King, and more than a hundred Innate Divine Beings ambushed Hong Yun to seize the purple qi that could grant sagehood. As the assault threatened Hong Yun and Zhen Yuanzi, Qing Xuan stepped forward and overwhelmed the attackers’ combined Dao realms, leaving the Eastern King calling for everyone to unleash their full power.

  • Kunpeng blocked Hong Yun’s route home and demanded that he surrender the purple qi, while the Eastern King and more than a hundred Innate Divine Beings surrounded him.

  • Qing Xuan swept aside the united gods, forcing Kunpeng and Eastern King to retreat and clearing the way back to the Primordial World.
  • Qing Xuan warned Hong Yun that the primordial violet qi brought responsibilities and consequences, then accompanied him and Zhen Yuanzi to Longevity Mountain.
  • After visiting Zhen Yuanzi and Hong Yun at Wuzhuang Temple, Qing Xuan and Qing Yi left for Buzhou Mountain to study how the Ancestral Witches used their Dao bodies to bear the Great Dao.
  • Zhurong and Gonggong fought with fire and water until Di Jiang stopped them and warned them not to damage more of the mountain.
  • Qing Xuan and Qing Yi approached, and Zhurong and Gonggong stopped arguing when they sensed the visitors.

Ch. 144Gonggong's challenge

Qing Xuan accepted Gonggong’s challenge and effortlessly countered his water-based attacks without revealing his full strength. After Gonggong conceded, Qing Xuan explained that he and Qing Yi had come to study the Witch Clan’s inheritance of Pangu’s legacy, and Di Jiang offered to show them a place outsiders could visit.

  • Di Jiang welcomed Qing Xuan and Qing Yi to Buzhou Mountain while Gonggong challenged Qing Xuan to exchange moves.
  • Qing Xuan agreed, and Di Jiang opened a wasteland where the Ancestral Witches sparred.
  • Gonggong unleashed a vast flood and then concentrated the power of water into a stronger punch, but Qing Xuan stopped him and dispersed his attacks with two fingers.
  • Gonggong ended the exchange, and Houtu stopped Zhurong from challenging Qing Xuan next.
  • Qing Xuan said he and Qing Yi had come to see the Pangu legacy inherited by the Witch Clan, and Di Jiang offered to take them somewhere open to outsiders.

Ch. 145Houtu challenged Qing Yi

  • Di Jiang led Qing Xuan and Qing Yi to a mountain fissure containing a mark left by Pangu’s axe, and Houtu invited Qing Yi inside.
  • Houtu and Qing Yi fought through the ancient road’s waves of axe force, with Qing Yi gradually pulling half a step ahead.
  • At the road’s end, Qing Yi pinned and dispersed the colossal axe shadow with her creation Dao light.
  • Houtu realized Qing Yi had waited for her, then challenged her to a rematch without Spiritual Treasures in the wilderness west of Buzhou Mountain, and Qing Yi agreed.

Ch. 146All-out conflict between the Immortal Court and the Demon Court

Houtu challenged Qing Yi to a battle and conceded after Qing Yi trapped her with the power of a manifested world. After Qing Xuan and Qing Yi left Buzhou Mountain, they saw the Immortal Court and Demon Court gathering for war.

  • Di Jiang isolated the wilderness west of Buzhou Mountain so Houtu and Qing Yi could fight.
  • Houtu attacked Qing Yi with her Ancestral Witch dharma form, but Qing Yi restrained it with a green lotus and a manifested world.
  • Houtu conceded defeat, and she and Qing Yi exchanged friendly words about fighting again.
  • The Ancestral Witches hosted Qing Xuan and Qing Yi at a bonfire, where Houtu drank until she collapsed.
  • Qing Xuan and Qing Yi left Buzhou Mountain and saw the Immortal Court and Demon Race assemble beneath opposing banners as a bell tolled across the Primordial World.

Ch. 147Beyond Chaos, Luohou vs. Yang Mei

The Immortal Court lost its first formal clash with the Demon Court, while Luohou watched from the Outer-Domain Demon Realm and investigated a time-related Dao pattern in a Jade Disc of Creation Fragment. Yang Mei entered the Demon Realm to confront him, and their opposing Great Daos clashed.

  • The Eastern King retreated after Taiyi rang the Chaos Bell, leaving the Immortal Court defeated.
  • Luohou stopped a powerful demon god from invading a cultivator through a flaw in their Dao heart, warning that Hongjun would punish overreach.
  • Luohou touched a time-related Dao pattern on the Jade Disc of Creation Fragment and briefly reversed the demon god's destruction.
  • Yang Mei opened a Space Channel into the Outer-Domain Demon Realm, where Luohou attacked him with a colossal demonic palm.
  • Yang Mei divided the attack across hundreds of millions of spatial layers, but Luohou's Great Dao of destruction erased them all.

Ch. 148Luohou and Yang Mei Join Forces Against Shichen

Yang Mei confronted Luohou in the Demon Realm and proposed an alliance after revealing that Shichen had trapped his Spatial Dao Marker in a time loop. They located Shichen at the end of time, where he demonstrated power over both of them, and agreed to join forces to reach him.

  • Yang Mei and Luohou exchanged attacks in the Demon Realm, then traded barbed remarks about their past conflict during the Dao-Demon War.
  • Yang Mei showed Luohou a cracked willow Dao marker that repeatedly returned to the moment Pangu's axe struck it, and identified Shichen as the only being capable of trapping it in time.
  • Luohou brought out the Jade Disc of Creation Fragment, and together they used it and the marker to trace a river of time to Shichen's mist-shrouded domain.
  • Shichen snapped the River of Time and struck across time, nearly splitting Yang Mei's marker and causing the Black Lotus to wither before its petal reopened.
  • Yang Mei and Luohou agreed to find Shichen together, dividing the spatial source, destruction, and Devil Dao between them.

Ch. 149Shichen made his move

Kong Xuan attained Great Luo on the Purple Star and received the Five Directional Primordial Flags from Qing Yi. Meanwhile, Shichen concealed a stretch of time and a broken body in gray mist, and Yang Mei and Luohou arrived at the mist’s edge.

  • Kong Xuan mastered the five-element essences by placing her Great Dao at their center, attained Great Luo, and reunited her past and future manifestations with her present self.
  • Qing Yi gave Kong Xuan the Five Directional Primordial Flags, and Kong Xuan planned to anchor them across the Purple Star to form a domain of primordial five elements.
  • Qing Xuan and Qing Yi noticed that a stretch of time beyond the Primordial World had been hidden, and Qing Yi identified the gray mist as the cause.
  • Shichen reversed the stretch of time illuminated by the Jade Disc of Creation, concealing the ruined worlds, a damaged Dao beacon, and a broken body within the gray mist.
  • Yang Mei reached the gray mist through a passage formed by overlapping layers of space, and Luohou followed on the Twelfth-Rank World-Destroying Black Lotus.

Ch. 150At the End of Time

Yang Mei and Luohou visited Shichen in the river of time and used the Spatial Dao Marker and Jade Disc of Creation Fragment to uncover survivors of the battle that opened the heavens. They left after a mysterious figure noticed their present, and Qing Xuan identified Shichen as the likely one who had cut away the stretch of time.

  • Yang Mei and Luohou followed the Spatial Dao Marker through the gray mist to Shichen, who halted the river of time and greeted them.
  • Yang Mei and Luohou asked Shichen to reveal which Daos and old acquaintances had survived the Pangu Axe, and Shichen anchored the marker and illuminated the past with the Jade Disc of Creation Fragment.
  • Shichen showed them the battle that opened the heavens, revealing demon gods and true spirits that had escaped into Chaos or entered the Primordial World.
  • A figure in the vision turned to look toward the present, so Shichen severed the revealed era and the Jade Disc of Creation Fragment gained a new crack.
  • Yang Mei and Luohou departed the river of time, and the starlight outside the Purple Star resumed flowing after only an instant.
  • Qing Xuan told Kong Xuan that a Chaos Demon God had cut away a stretch of time, and he agreed with Qing Yi that Shichen was likely responsible.
