Time and Space Expulsion

What would happen if time stopped in the legs while the rest of the body continued flowing normally?

The most obvious consequence was the blood!

Human blood circulated continuously.

If it were paused, The Ancient One would instantly lose nearly half her blood. At the very least, the blood in her legs would be unable to return to her heart and then flow to the rest of her body.

A layer of "vacuum" would appear where her legs connected to her hips.

If it were serious enough, The Ancient One's legs would be severed on the spot.

But she was, after all, the Sorcerer Supreme. After vomiting a mouthful of blood from the chaos in her bloodstream, she promptly turned time back and avoided the danger of her legs snapping.

An expert's skill was obvious the moment he made a move.

The Ancient One's use of the "Time Stone" remained superficial, and the Eye of Agamotto had long been shelved. She rarely wore it. She had also sensed the Time Stone's danger. If not for Kino, she might not have used its power.

Her magical attainments surpassed Doctor Strange's, but in using the Time Stone, she might still have fallen slightly short.

Even Doctor Strange, Stephen Strange, had merely used the Time Stone to return to the past, travel to the future, or create an infinite time loop.

They were nowhere near Kino's thirty years of constant research and development.

He could stop time in the upper half of a mountain while allowing the lower half to flow normally, and then—the mountain would be split cleanly in two at the waist!

"The Ancient One, I admit that if you activated the Time Stone's infinite loop, you could compete with me. Then the two of us could remain trapped in an endless loop forever. Neither of us could get out, and we would not need to do anything else!"

There was no mana consumption involved here at all. In an infinite loop, once he returned to the past, Kino would once again be brimming with mana. Besides, he himself possessed nearly Infinite Magic.

After The Ancient One died, only her physical body would perish; her spirit would return to Eternity, one of the five cosmic entities. If she wanted, she could still cause Kino trouble. But Kino possessed the Phoenix Force. Even if she became one of Eternity's great generals, she was not Eternity herself. If he truly wanted to kill her, he had plenty of ways.

"What do you want?" The Ancient One turned and asked.

"NO! NO! NO! You angered me. You cannot leave without paying a price!"

Then, beneath everyone's puzzled gazes, Kino extended his hand toward The Ancient One again. Two strange seals struck her body and vanished instantly.

"I now expel your existence! In the name of the God of Time and the God of Space, this world, the time here—apart from the Sorcerer Sanctum—this New York does not like you and does not welcome your presence! I, Kino, Phoenix's Child, order your expulsion—and time—forever!"

As the final word fell, The Ancient One's entire body vanished with a pop, like foam.

Before disappearing, her eyes widened, as though she could not believe it.

—Kino could actually expel her?

After three seconds of stunned silence, Nick Fury stammered, "Wait, wait, you... you... what did you just do?"

"I banished her!"

"What? Banished?" Nick Fury's entire face wrinkled up. What the hell was that supposed to mean?

"Simply put, she will never appear in New York again. It is as if there is a massive barrier here—she can never enter again. Of course, the New York Sanctum is excluded!" Kino explained.

"Forever?" Nick Fury focused on that final word.

"Yes! As long as I am not dead and do not change my mind, she will never be able to enter New York. Even using the Time Stone, she cannot reach New York in either the past or the future. The Mirror Dimension that sorcerers love to use is also forbidden."

Nick Fury sucked in a sharp breath. That powerful? Wouldn't that mean Kino could banish anyone he wanted?

Ahem, how could it be that simple?

The Ancient One was the Sorcerer Supreme, after all. Banishing her had consumed nearly one-third of his mana! Though she was inferior to him in the study of time, she might perhaps make some breakthroughs in "space."

But Kino thought that was impossible!

The Phoenix Force could already fold space-time, traverse space or time at will, and even easily destroy spatial dimensions.

He believed that as his control over the Phoenix Force grew more proficient by the day, it would be absolutely impossible for The Ancient One to enter New York again.

Yet he soon became depressed.
