The Ancient One, standing nearby, furrowed her brows tightly. Clearly, this unknown person knew the origins of the Infinity Stones. Her resolve to control him became even firmer. Leaving such an unpredictable "bomb" out in the human world was far too dangerous.

"Aren't you taking yourself way too seriously?"

"If we're talking about danger, you're the most dangerous one here, damn it!"

"Do you even know how to use the Time Stone?"

"Time Manipulation can create infinite branches of time, and those are extremely unstable timelines! Spatial paradoxes, time loops! If you overuse time magic, you'll suffer time's curse. Though... perhaps Dormammu did not control every part of the Dark Dimension, The Ancient One had always been connected to it.

The Ancient One's heart skipped a beat.

As Kino paced back and forth, he tilted his head and sneered at The Ancient One. "You know what? I hate it most when people act all high and mighty in front of me! I understand, I really do. This kind of high-level Space Magic barrier appeared in New York, so it was perfectly reasonable for you, the Sorcerer Supreme, to come investigate!"

"But if you leave now and obediently go be your Archangel Gabriel, I can pretend none of this ever happened. However—you came here barking orders at me!"

The Ancient One frowned. What Gabriel?

"I fucking hate that smug, self-righteous attitude of yours!"

The more Kino spoke, the angrier he became, and the louder his cursing grew!

"Who the hell do you think you are?"

"Are you the savior? Are you a god? Do you fucking think you can control me?"

"It's only time. Do you think I can't manipulate time?"

The Ancient One's heart began pounding wildly!

Nick Fury was aiming his pistol at The Ancient One. Though he was unsure whether bullets would work, hearing that, he turned to stare blankly at Kino.

You could manipulate time too?

Before Nick Fury could ask, Kino moved.

The Black Dragon Skin on his body gradually vanished, and his entire body became translucent. No, it was turning white!

In less than a second, Kino had completely transformed from head to toe into a "white man"!

Not milk-white, nor snow-white, but...

It felt like he was about to disappear, like one of those comic book characters... being erased? His whole body had suddenly vanished from this three-dimensional space. Kino had turned "white," with no color remaining except for his outlines. Apart from the outer contours, hairline, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lip lines, and the outlines of his clothes, every bit of color on him had been "erased."

It was as though he had become a black-and-white comic.

Kino looked as if he were vanishing from this three-dimensional world!

Fortunately, only his colors had disappeared.

After Kino fused with Mavis's heart from Fairy Tail and became a White Mage, he possessed inexhaustible Infinite Magic and could manipulate "time" and "space."

In his normal form, he could not manipulate time, though he could manipulate space with somewhat more complicated Space Magic. But after transforming into White Mage Form, he could control time and space however he wished. For some extremely large-scale spells, it would also greatly shorten his casting time.

Nick Fury curiously reached out and touched Kino.

Kino looked utterly bewildered. "What are you doing?"

"Uh... I just wanted to see whether you... you had turned transparent... disappeared! But it looks like you're still here!"

"..."

Too lazy to bother with Blackhead, Kino activated his ability.

Time was mysterious. There were no earth-shattering colors or effects; only the drink inside a bottle held by one of the Mutants in the school building... began rapidly rising.

Rumble—A black Chevrolet Suburban smashed through the school gates like a mad beast... and charged inside.

With a mournful screech, it swerved and stumbled, leaving tire marks across the ground before finally stopping.

Nick Fury pushed open the car door with a pale face and looked at the school, which seemed as though it had been hit by an earthquake. "What? What... happened here just now?"

The Ancient One's heart jolted violently. Startled, she realized time had been altered?

At this moment, she was still hidden within the illusion and had not been dragged out by Kino.

The Time Stone activated—

Nick Fury reached out and touched Kino.

Kino looked utterly bewildered. "What are you doing?"

"Uh... I just wanted to see whether you... you had turned transparent... disappeared! Looks like you're still here!"

After saying that, he sensed that something was slightly off.

"Strange, why does it feel like... something isn't quite right?" Then he understood, staring at the two in horror. "You... what did you do?"

Kino ignored Nick Fury and instead sharply pointed at The Ancient One. "In the name of the God of Time, stop the time in your legs!"

Then Blackhead watched in utter bewilderment as The Ancient One spat out a mouthful of blood with a "wah." Then she staggered and fell to her knees.

"Y-you... what did you do this time?"

"I stopped the time in her legs, then let the time in the rest of her body continue flowing normally!" Kino said.

"What?" Nick Fury did not quite understand. "Then what happens?"

"What happens is..."

The moment he began speaking, Kino sensed time reversing again.

"Strange, why does it feel like something isn't right again?" Nick Fury dazedly rubbed his shiny black bald head. "Strange, why did I say 'again'?"

Then he looked at Kino in horror once more.

"You messed with things again?"

Kino impatiently shoved Blackhead aside and coldly stared at The Ancient One. "When it comes to mastery over time, you're far beneath me. Hurry up and get lost!"

As he spoke, he crouched down and slammed both palms against the ground.

Boom—

"Time Reset!"
