"What is this?"
Tony Stark's eyes widened as he stared at the large box in front of him, which reeked of a foul odor.
" Wakanda crocodile meat, consider it a gift from me. Hmm, don't let its current appearance fool you, if cooked properly... it's quite a delicacy. Consider it a small gift for making your weapon." Kino laughed heartily.
He killed so many crocodiles and took away a lot of crocodile meat; he's now worried about where to dispose of it.
"You went to Wakanda?"
"Of course, otherwise where would Vibranium come from?"
"Okay, but I don't eat crocodile meat."
"It's rich in collagen."
I won't eat that either.
"You dare to refuse what I gave you?"
"Okay, Happy, take it away and destroy it!" Then, seeing Kino's unfriendly expression, Tony quickly changed his tune and smiled. "I mean—find the Fridge, freeze it, and never let it see the light of day again."
Happy quickly moved away to "dispose of the body and cover up the evidence."
Kino waved his hand dismissively; he'd already given the items away, so it was up to them to decide what to do with them.
"I've given you the item. Don't worry, I put a little magic on it; no one but us can see it. Also, how many days will it take to finish?"
"Hmm... it'll take about ten days," Tony calculated and said.
"So long?"
"Ten days isn't slow! I need to compare all sorts of complex data and reduce various frequencies to the same level as the human body. Such a large and complex database can only be handled by myself, which is already quite manageable. If Yinsen could help me, it would probably only take a week," Tony complained.
Yinsen is the man who coughed up blood in Iron Man 1, helping to create the MK1. After being saved by Kino, the loner chose to live with Tony and become his assistant and partner.
"Only three days' reduction? Forget it then."
Adding one person only reduces the time by three days, so what's the difference between adding one person and not adding any at all?
If it's reduced to three days, then Kino might consider it.
"Oh, by the way, where's Yinsen? I haven't seen him lately."
"How could I let him in at a crucial moment like this? Besides, I found him a wife, a glamorous 40-year-old! Very beautiful, she used to be a beauty pageant runner-up, isn't that good enough for him?" Tony said with a wicked grin.
Kino grinned mischievously, "How old is Yinsen? Fifty or sixty, right? Thirty is like a wolf, forty is like a tiger. Are you trying to murder him?"
"That's why I came to ask you, do you have any of those things... Um. His family is all dead, he can't be all alone, can he? You China have a saying, 'It's a great tragedy to have no descendants.' If Yinsen can have a child in his old age, that would be a comfort, wouldn't it?" Tony shrugged helplessly.
"Give."
The potion came with a note with "Precautions," similar to the one given to the Wakanda elder, but this one had an added "conditioning" aspect, while the other had an "ability" aspect.
Regardless of the method, that potion was draining his life force. He had no connection with that elder, and since the other party chose to "die beneath the flowers," he might as well grant his wish. But Yinsen wasn't that elder, so the potion focused on nourishing his body. If used properly, it might extend his life by three to five years, right?
"Thank you on Yinsen's behalf."
"You hold the fort, I'll go grab the people and keep them safe."
"Arrest them?"
"Arrest some unlucky guys, otherwise where will we get the 'live' ones? What, you feel sorry for them?"
Tony immediately thought of his work at the " Odd Jobs Shop " and shook his head. "Well, they're all... damn guys."
"I'll come back to pick it up in 10 days. If you've lost it, you'll be in big trouble." Kino said, and then disappeared the next second.
"Alright—let's get to work." Tony stretched and began his day's work.
After leaving, Kino received a phone call from Maria Hill.
An extremely secretive ground command post.
If Maria Hill hadn't called him, he wouldn't have discovered this command post in the middle of the city.
"Instructor." Maria Hill walked towards us.
"Oh my, you called me Instructor today? Hold on, let me think... Something big must be wrong. Otherwise, you wouldn't be begging me like this. Hmm, let me think... never mind, I won't think about it anymore. Since you've been so good, here's a gift for you."
Kino waved his hand, and "boom!" A whole box of Wakanda crocodile meat!
"A crocodile? I don't want one!" Maria Hill's expression turned grim.
"Hey, that's so weird! It's one thing for men not to want it, but you women don't want it either? This stuff is super high in collagen! I just got it home, and Jennifer and the others started packing it up." Kino found it very strange.
"Trouble."
Forehead...
Organizing this stuff is really troublesome.
"Since you don't want it, then give it to me. We'll be flying around for a while now, and we'll be lacking in nutrition." Coulson smiled and slowly walked over. "Good morning, Instructor. I haven't had a chance to thank you for saving my life yet!"
"That's nothing! But it seems... this is going to be a big deal." Seeing Coulson, Kino pretty much knew what it was about.
"It's time for me, this 'corpse,' to get moving. The reason I invited the instructor here is to see who's hiding among the selected candidates..." Coulson chuckled.
"I understand. Anyway, I have nothing to do. Where are all the people?"
"Turn on the screen," Maria Hill shouted.
"Yes, sir."
The agent pressed a button, and the wall in front of him slowly flickered until it became a transparent "glass." High technology indeed! The ten shortlisted candidates stood motionless inside.
Five men and five women, their expressions were very serious.
Surprisingly, the trajectory was exactly the same as before; Jemma Simmons and Leo Fitz were also in it.
"Where's the list?" Kino asked.
"Here!" Coulson quickly handed it over.
Maria Hill was somewhat surprised. She had summoned him to confirm whether there were any Hydra among them. What information did he need to look at? He didn't know anything about selecting people; did he want to interfere?
Believe it or not, Kino really wanted to get involved.
After reviewing the information, Kino had some doubts. It seemed that the timeline had been moved up. Jemma Simmons and Leo Fitz were both Level 3 agents, which could be considered the lowest-ranking reserve candidates.
Shouldn't it have been higher?
Well, Kino frowned; he didn't know much about it either.
Forget it, I'm too lazy to think about it.
Kino noticed that Melinda May was on the list as always, but not on the shortlist, but on the official list. She wasn't actually on it either; after all, she was a trained veteran, and her identity could already be confirmed.
"Huh, she's here too?" Suddenly, Kino saw one of the names on the list and froze.
