"You'll get your share, as long as your information is accurate." Thor slapped Star-Lord's hand away, looking faintly disgusted.
Not that he truly disliked him.
By now, Thor knew Star-Lord's background and understood where his "greedy" streak came from. Ravagers scraping by at the bottom took whatever they could to survive.
Besides, Thor was out of options.
With Asgard gone, he was practically deaf to what was happening out there.
"Well, thanks in advance, boss. By the way, are you coming with us, or...?" Star-Lord asked.
"No. I'll look for leads myself." Thor shook his head. He couldn't put all his hopes in Star-Lord.
"Fine. Take this. I'll contact you if I hear anything. Have my payment ready." Star-Lord handed Thor a communicator, then boarded his ship and flew off.
Loki suddenly suggested, "Dear brother, I think we should go to Grandmaster's Sakaar."
"Exactly. I was planning to go to Sakaar."
"Huh?" Loki froze.
"But not for the reason you're thinking. Sakaar itself doesn't interest me. Valkyrie has spent enough time there that she might have contacts who know something. Besides, Sakaar is a haven for outsiders and a place where people go to live it up. It should be easier to find information there," Thor said.
Loki was baffled. He had meant for them to seize Sakaar and rule it themselves. Wouldn't that be better than building some New Asgard on Earth? The territory and palace were already there. A few changes, and it could become the next Asgard. Coming and going would be much easier, too, and they wouldn't have to haul the dwarf king's ring over.
Surely that was easier than building everything from scratch on Earth?
