Werther froze at the furious roar, then realized he had probably run into someone with a grudge against him.

He was not particularly surprised. He had plenty of enemies.

Werther turned and saw a rather strange-looking man. The strange part was his head: it was oval, like a football.

Werther recognized him at once. Wasn't that Capone Bege, whose head he had stomped on three times?

Bege was gripping the chest of his black-and-white striped suit. Werther had left him with a humiliation he would carry for life.

After surviving countless brushes with death and growing much stronger, Bege had never expected to encounter his hated enemy, the Thunder Swordsman Werther, so soon.

Bege's men urged him not to clash with Werther yet, but their warnings had no effect.

The subordinate who had just tried to stop him now had a bloody dagger buried in his chest, straight through the heart. The well-meaning man would be dead before long.

Werther looked at Bege's face, twisted by hatred, and felt disappointed. Bege had come for revenge too soon.

"So it's you. What a disappointment. Why not train in the New World for a while before coming after me?

"Forget it. Since you've come for me today, let's settle this to the death. If you really can kill me, then I was never all that much. There'd be no point continuing my journey."

Werther slowly drew both Intent Blood swords. Pale blue Lightning appeared around him as he activated Lightning Mode.

He would not underestimate an enemy who had come seeking revenge. He pushed his body's activation to a high level, and Silver-Blue lightning began to crackle around him.
