Werther looked at Perona. After six months together, they had grown closer and more comfortable with each other.

Since Perona had no intention of going to sea with him, Werther let the matter rest.

Zoro watched Werther go and felt unexpectedly reluctant to see him leave. Over the past six months, the man had taught him a great deal—not just about Haki, but about fighting as well.

"Thank you for guiding me these past six months. I, Roronoa Zoro, will never forget what you've done for me."

Werther heard Zoro but did not turn around. He simply smiled and kept walking into the distance.

As they walked, Werther glanced at Bonney beside him. Over those six months, she had somehow learned Observation Haki by watching him in secret. That had surprised him.

"Hey, Bonney. With what we've been doing, you're not going to get pregnant, are you?"
