Mino felt close to breaking.

Back at Impel Down, she had heard of the Thunder Swordsman and knew about his cruel interrogation methods.

But Domino had been professionally trained. She had believed that if she ever fell into his hands, the worst he could do was toy with her before killing her. She would never submit.

Now she knew how laughable that belief had been. The man had not left a single wound on her, yet he had tortured her to the brink.

"Why put yourself through this? You could've talked sooner. Why wait until you've suffered before giving in? Back where I'm from, we have a saying: you won't shed a tear until you see the coffin. It fits you perfectly."

At Werther's command, the needles of lightning covering Domino vanished.

As soon as they disappeared, Domino let out a soft gasp. Her face flushed an unusual shade of red, and she pressed her legs together.

With that unbearable sensation gone, Domino felt a strange pleasure take its place.

She trembled a few times before the feeling faded, leaving her breathing hard.

At last, it was over. Mino felt as though she had reached heaven.

"Lopez is being held on the twenty-third floor. At dawn tomorrow, we'll take him straight to Impel Down."

Mino's face turned pale after she gave in. She had betrayed the Marines, broken by a torment worse than death.

"The twenty-third floor? How many guards are there, and who are they?"

At Werther's question, Domino gave a bitter smile.

"You won't succeed. There's a Marine Admiral guarding that floor. You can't kill Lopez without him sensing it. It's impossible."

A Marine Admiral. Werther had to admit that complicated things.

He did not fear a direct fight. But killing Lopez right in front of the admiral
