The dust cleared. The meteorite had smashed a deep crater into the ground where Werther and Fujitora had stood. Yet beneath their feet, the ground remained untouched, unlike the shattered earth around them.

Werther and Fujitora stood facing each other inside the crater.

"Is this how you plan to avenge your junior, Fujitora? It looks like you won't stop until I fight you with everything I've got.

"If you end up dead, don't blame me."

As he spoke, lightning flickered across Werther's body. He pushed Lightning Mode to its limit, activating his body to a considerable degree.

Fujitora said nothing. He took a reverse grip on his Cane Sword.

Werther had no intention of taking it head-on. He dodged, then rushed straight at Fujitora.

Werther often used his speed to overwhelm opponents, and this time was no exception.

In an instant, he reached Fujitora, ready to teach him a lesson he would never forget.

Fujitora had used Gravitational Blade: Tiger twice in quick succession, expending considerable stamina. He was still catching his breath.
