"The King of the Sky has been tamed. The question now is what to do with the person sitting on his back."
Dragon's voice was as deep as ever. His face betrayed nothing, as though no one could read his thoughts.
"Dragon, what did you say? There's someone on the King of the Sky's back? How come I didn't see him?"
The Okama King shaded his eyes with a hand and peered into the sky. Sure enough, a man was sitting on the King of the Sky's broad back.
"Who is that guy? He couldn't be a World Government spy, could he? Should we capture him?"
Koala's expression turned grave as she realized how serious this was.
"If he were a World Government spy, things would be easier. This man is much harder to deal with."
Dragon felt frustrated, and with good reason.
When the Revolutionary Army had chosen a base, they had considered many locations before settling on this Island, which no compass needle pointed to.
Yet today, someone had found it anyway.
Dragon took two steps forward and called out to Kong. "Werther, may I ask what brings you to our base?"
At Dragon's call, Werther signaled the King of the Sky to descend. Soon, everyone in the Revolutionary Army could see him.
"How should I put it? I happened to be passing by. This Island looked strange, so I stopped to take a look.
Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you, Monkey D. Dragon, Leader of the Revolutionary Army."
Everyone on the Island looked briefly stunned. It wasn't Werther's claim that he had arrived by chance that surprised them. It was how polite he sounded.
They certainly didn't believe he had stumbled upon the island by chance.
Dragon found himself in a bind after hearing Werther's words.
