Yasopp's brow twitched when he caught Werther looking at him. He smiled around the barrel of his long rifle, his lips moving as though he had said something.
Werther knew a little lip-reading and immediately worked out what Yasopp had said.
"Your sword doesn't seem all that fast, either."
Werther had learned to read lips from his Senior Sister back when he was an assassin. It was a way to gather intelligence on his enemies.
The smile on Werther's face widened, then turned into his distinctive, manic grin.
Werther changed targets and charged straight at Yasopp.
Yasopp startled. If a Great Swordsman like Werther got close, he would be lucky to escape with his life.
"Not a chance."
Lucky Roux's round body blocked Werther's path, his pistol aimed at him.
“Gun off.”
Werther slashed at Lucky Roux. The force of the blow left the fat man red-faced with effort.
Lucky Roux fought to hold him back, but Werther sent him flying.
Werther knew he could not take Lucky Roux down quickly. He needed to deal with Yasopp first.
Otherwise, Lucky Roux's defenses combined with Yasopp's marksmanship would make the two of them a serious problem.
Werther had sent Lucky Roux flying a long way, but as soon as he landed, he bounced back like a rubber ball.
"I said you're not getting past."
Werther eyed Lucky Roux. This was going to be difficult.
The quickest way to deal with Lucky Roux was Crimson Regalia, but Werther had used it only a day ago. Using it again now would put a tremendous strain on his body.
Some of his hair was still white. If he pushed himself again, he might suffer irreversible damage.
As Werther weighed his options, a bullet flew toward his calf.
