Werther took out his Den Den Mushi and saw that the call was from Perona, his sister.

But when he answered, he heard a man's voice instead of hers.

"Werther, it's Dracule Mihawk."

Hawk-Eyes? He's calling me on a Den Den Mushi? Werther was surprised.

"What is it, Mihawk? What do you need?"

As he spoke, Werther tossed the Dragon Hide Coat to Ruri Chie, motioning for her to put it on.

A large bump had risen on Ruri Chie's head. Werther had apparently taught her a lesson, and she was pouting now.

Ruri Chie had acted that way because she thought it would show how close the two of them were.

The girl had lost both parents when she was young. Clearly, she had never been taught what was appropriate.

Even if she hadn't lost them, a samurai family might have taught her nothing but loyalty and the pursuit of strength.

After Werther's lesson, Ruri Chie had begun to understand that what she'd done was wrong, though it had been her first time doing anything like it.

"Roronoa has been possessed by the evil spirit in the Sandai Kitetsu. He's lost his mind. Can you do anything?"

Hawk-Eyes went straight to the point, just as Werther would expect of him.

"Is that so? Is he dead yet?"

Werther's response clearly caught Hawk-Eyes off guard.

"Not yet, but he soon will be. Don't you want to save Roronoa?"

Werther chuckled. Of course he didn't. The Straw Hat Pirates might become his enemies one day. Helping Roronoa Zoro now would be downright foolish.

He had taught Zoro Haki only because Perona had asked him to. Otherwise, who knew whether Zoro would already have died by his sword?

Whatever relationship his sister had with Roronoa Zoro, Werther would kill him without hesitation
