Werther walked alone through the Marine Base. There was no one left alive around him.
Everyone who had been in the base had either been killed by Werther or fled.
Before long, Werther reached Corpse Mountain, close to the main gate.

Werther gripped the hilt of Intent Blood. A fight seemed unavoidable now.
"Disobeyed orders? Are you joking? Even if they did, it wasn't your place to kill them."
Momousagi drew Kompira from her waist and tossed her Marine cape onto the ground.
Werther drew Intent Blood, ready to fight them both.
If they wanted a fight, they would get one. Werther had no interest in explaining himself to Garp or anyone else.
