Watching the explosion from the King of the Sky's back was far more pleasant than experiencing it on the ground.
As pink flames slowly swallowed Whole Cake Island below, Werther and his two companions watched as though they were enjoying fireworks.
Ain, however, was trembling.
The pink flames below were devouring countless lives. Those people were Pirates, but they were living, breathing human beings all the same.
Zephyr was known for refusing to kill. Naturally, his disciple's hands had not been stained with much blood.
"Don't any of you feel anything?"
Ain looked at the three of them, waiting for an answer.
"My throw was a little off," Werther said.
"What a waste of all those desserts," Sugar said.
"It was more spectacular when Wano Country was blown apart," Ruri Chie said.
Their reactions left Ain stunned. She began to wonder whether her worldview was wrong, or whether the three people before her were simply bizarre.
"That explosion down there wasn't bad either. We can't pass up a chance like this to go and 'greet' Charlotte Linlin.
"If things get dangerous, Chie, just take care of Sugar."
Werther signaled for the King of the Sky to descend, and it approached Whole Cake Island.
"What if she's in danger?" Ruri Chie asked, pointing at Ain.
"We'll see."
With that, Werther peered down, searching for survivors. There was no chance the Dyna Stones had wiped out the entire Big Mom Pirates.
As a crew belonging to one of the Four Emperors who ruled the New World, they would be a joke if a few Dyna Stones could annihilate them. Werther had never expected that.
They would not be wiped out, but their losses would be devastating. Their lower- and mid-ranking fighters were bound to have been killed.
