Charlotte Cracker's face was full of hatred, but he showed little else.
Werther was meeting the last of them, Charlotte Katakuri, for the first time.
Katakuri had short black hair, a tall, lean build, tattoos on both arms, and a pair of dead-fish eyes. He looked eminently punchable.
Werther saw something in the man's eyes.

Both the man's earlier actions and his expression now gave him away.

Werther turned and called over Ruri Chie, who was still fighting, and Sugar, who had been watching.
When the four realized he really meant to leave, anxiety showed on their faces.
"Stop right there! What do you think this is, a bathhouse? You can't just come and go as you please!"
Charlotte Cracker roared, but his feet stayed put.
Werther acted as though he hadn't heard Charlotte Cracker's taunt. He kept his back to the four of them.
Charlotte Katakuri flicked a sugar bean from his thumb. It shot toward the back of Werther's head.
Werther's Observation Haki sensed it. It might have been a sugar bean, but it flew as fast as a bullet—faster, even.

Werther tilted his head slightly. The bean flew past his ear, its wake ruffling his short hair.
Even then, he did not stop walking. It seemed he really was leaving.
In the distance, Vinsmoke Reiju lay collapsed on the ground. Blood slowly spread beneath her, but her faint breathing showed that she was still alive.
Chie had not spared Reiju out of mercy. Just as she was about to pierce Reiju's throat, Werther had called her away.
