The wind whistled past Werther's cheeks.
White clouds drifted into view now and then. Whenever the King of the Sky flew through them, the temperature dropped noticeably, and moisture dampened their clothes.
The King of the Sky was flying so high because Werther had specifically ordered him to.
"Faster. Get out of Charlotte Linlin's territory!"
Werther sat on the King of the Sky's back with his eyes shut, looking anxious.

He hadn't picked a fight with the Big Mom Pirates because he was already near his limit. He had only been forcing himself to hold on.
After coughing up the blood, Werther passed out.
Sugar sat there stunned, at a loss for a moment.

Sugar hurriedly examined him. The wounds on his chest and thigh were the worst.
She didn't dare touch the sunken area of his chest; she wasn't a Doctor. But she could at least stitch up his thigh.
Half an hour later, she had treated most of his wounds. The method was simple enough: pour on S.3 Drug, then stitch what needed stitching and bandage what needed bandaging.
Unfortunately, Sugar's bandaging
