Werther's pursuit left the Revolutionary Army with heavy casualties.
Dragon noticed, of course.
He stopped in his tracks. His sickly green face looked almost comical.
"Dragon, let me go. You should get to the sea and wash that off. The poison gas could corrode your skin."
The Okama King stopped when he saw Dragon halt.
"He's right, Leader. We'll hold off the Thunder Swordsman."
Hack stopped too. Werther had severed his forearm, and the blood loss had left his face pale.
"No. You can't stop him."
Dragon had exchanged only a few blows with Werther, but he could already gauge his strength. Sending his officers against Werther would only get them killed.
"Fish-Man Karate: Water Shot."
Hack took a fighting stance, and water gathered in his hand.
"Leader, use this to wash your face."
Dragon needed no prompting. He scooped up the clean water and washed the sickly green dust from his face.
"Go on ahead. I'll catch up."
A fierce wind swept through, and Dragon vanished from Hack's and the Okama King's sight.
Werther was hunting down Revolutionary Army soldiers when he felt a sudden gust rush toward him.
"Wind Rider Spear!"
A blue-green spear thrust at Werther's head.
Werther tilted his head, dodged the strike, and looked up. It was Dragon.
A spear formed from energy had appeared in Dragon's hand, a technique made by compressing wind to an extreme degree.
"I thought you'd keep running."
Werther pulled off his gas mask. He was outside the poison gas now, so he had no reason to keep wearing it.
"You beat us when it came to Advanced Weapons. I have nothing to say about that. But you could take my people prisoner. There's no need to kill them. You could even put them to work. I'm willing to pay
