Rubble fell into the abyss. With the collapse of the Red Line, the Holy Land of Mary Geoise had vanished from the world.
Werther's legs gave out, and he sat on the ground. The battle had drained him completely.
"Heh... I really thought I'd die there."
Too weak to move, Werther lay back and gazed at the blue sky. The Red Line rose above the clouds, and the sky here was especially vivid.
Crimson Regalia had long since worn off. Exhaustion washed over Werther, and his vision gradually darkened.
Werther had burned a great deal of blood and almost exhausted his strength. He had also lost much of his life force.
From his battle with Antonio Alexan, Werther had gained less than a million life force. In their final clash, Antonio Alexan had used almost all of his, leaving only enough to keep himself alive.
Werther did not mind. Compared to the life force he had gained, the improvement in his swordsmanship was far greater.
His thoughts grew hazy. Werther's vision went black, and he fell into a deep sleep.
Through the haze, Werther sensed nothing but darkness around him.

A broken voice called to him. Werther's body began to recover. Someone must have been treating him.
His awareness gradually returned, and vitality began to flow through his body again.
