The Bibi family's Castle was nothing like the Castles Loa had imagined.
Granted, he had yet to see a proper Castle in this world. But thanks to the internet back in his previous life, not to mention all the scenes he'd seen in television shows and movies, he knew a little about Castles.
And in his experience, no Castle should ever have looked like this!
From the outside, how was this even a Castle?
It was clearly a beetle standing on its hind legs!
Sure, the beetle's head was actually an enormous stone likeness of a Bibi family ancestor, rather than an insect's head. But that only made it weirder!
Just imagine it: a building seven or eight stories tall, shaped like an old man wearing a bug costume!
It was painful to look at!
Especially after Bell and the others had burned it. Months of sun and rain had left great swathes of moss and black stains across its outer walls, turning the enormous statue all sorts of colors.
One glance was enough to make Loa reluctant to go anywhere near the freakish building.
A dense pest-repellent belt surrounded it, maintained according to a rule passed down through generations of the Bibi family. As a result, there was no sign of Blood Marrow Worms here.
