Everyone stared blankly at Benn Beckman, wondering what vital information the crafty man had uncovered.
"D-don't joke around! You liar!" De Ye shouted nervously. "No one but me can find them! You're lying!"
De Ye had every reason to be nervous. As long as he kept the Blood Marrow Worms' whereabouts from Loa and the others, he still had a chance to survive.
Now Benn Beckman meant to take away that last chance, so of course De Ye was nervous.
Benn Beckman gave him a casual glance. "Oh? I'm lying?"
"Well, I can see why you'd think that. You're just a worm that doesn't even know where it came from. Of course you wouldn't know about this method."

The others silently repeated those words, then realization struck.
Loa's eyes lit up. "You mean Titan?"
"Exactly." Benn Beckman took out the box Loa had given them earlier and held it in his hand.
Before the explosion, Benn Beckman had used one hand to drag Shanks away. In the other, he had held this box.
He took out the Source of Life inside and asked Shanks with a smile, "Captain, you haven't forgotten what this thing does, have you?"
"Hmm?! Me? O-of course not!" Shanks bluffed, then racked his brain to recall what the files had said about the Source of Life.
The forced calm in Shanks's voice told Benn Beckman that he had forgotten.
Benn Beckman sighed helplessly. "Forget it. I'll explain it to everyone."
Titans were immortal. Even if they were chopped into mincemeat, they could keep living, merely in a different form.
What allowed them to survive like that, aside from structural differences the files hadn't explained, was this Source of Life.
