Mingde gave a rueful smile. "The waters we just passed through were covered in fog, so our lookouts couldn't spot them. We only saw each other after we left the fog."
And Loa was right: this was big trouble!
That man was Monkey D. Dragon, wanted by the World Government and known as "the world's worst criminal"!
Even with Loa and five Warships on their side, Mingde wasn't entirely confident they would survive. The monsters who came out of the Elite Camp had seen more than ordinary soldiers. Mingde knew just how terrifying those infamous figures of the sea could be!
"What do we do? Open fire?"
"Opening fire would be suicide!" Loa laughed at himself. Dragon was no saint. If the Marines attacked him, getting their ships sunk would be the best outcome; a complete wipeout was just as possible. At Loa's current strength, Dragon might have some trouble dealing with him, but he certainly wouldn't lose!
But...
A strange smile spread across Loa's face. "Still, it's not every day I run into an old acquaintance. I'd better go say hello!"
"An old acquaintance?" Aboard the other Warship, Mingde stared at the Den Den Mushi after the call ended and blinked in confusion.

While he was still puzzling over it, a crushing pressure swept over him and forced him to the deck. He knew that feeling well. It was
