Through the haze, Loa felt himself walking through an endless fog. He could not remember how long he had been walking, how he had come here, or even what was in the picture he had just passed.
Without a thought or a hint of fatigue, Loa walked quietly along an unknown road toward an unknown destination.
He had no idea how much time passed. A minute, perhaps, or a century.
Then he suddenly came to his senses and found himself somewhere vaguely familiar.
"Where am I?"
It was a place that resembled the universe. Countless stars dotted the space above, below, and around him, flickering in and out of sight. He stood in the void, like some colossal being spanning entire planets. The sight was suffocating. In the distance, an enormous celestial body blazed with orange light, sending out wave after wave of scorching heat.
That place is dangerous!
Loa made the judgment instantly.
But what astonished him most was not the sun, absurdly close yet somehow harmless.
Mirror-like shards floated around him. The scenes reflected in them made Loa narrow his eyes.
