The same special treatment was extended to every member of the Straw Hat Pirates. When the Fish-Man Hachi brought Luffy and the others to Shakky's Rip-off Bar, a betting sheet showing the predicted order in which the various pirate crews would meet their end was posted in the most conspicuous spot.
What they had seen along the way left the Straw Hats speechless and itching to complain. When they saw the sheet again, Sanji silently blew a smoke ring.
"Is the Undead Legion really that terrifying?"
"They drove the Marines to declare independence from the World Government, and the World Government doesn't dare send troops against them. What do you think?" Shakky asked with interest, a cigarette between her lips. "I know you're Hachi's friends, so I probably shouldn't say this. But could you spare a thought for my nearly bankrupt bar and go turn yourselves in?"
"Ab-so-lute-ly not!"
The three scaredy-cats made their position perfectly clear!
"Stop scaring them, Shakky." Rayleigh laughed and waved a hand. "Officially, the Marines still run this place, so the Undead Legion doesn't have many troops here. If they really controlled it, do you think I could sit here in peace as the Pirate King's first mate? Their headquarters is right across from the tree behind this bar!"
Nami said, "Luffy, let's stay somewhere else."
Everyone else: "..."
"Don't worry. I have a deal with Loa. As long as you're in our bar, they won't storm in and arrest you," Rayleigh said with a reassuring smile.
"But you must watch out for that former Shichibukai, Jones the 'Freak'!"
Rayleigh suddenly looked at them gravely. "He's one of Loa's top fighters. Nobody knows how terrifying his true strength is. They call him the Freak because he can change into countless forms, and he has no
