Kaido and Teach went to war, while Loa led his team out. In the past, this was usually when the World Government pulled some stunt, only for Loa to slap them down and make them pay dearly.
But this time, no one did.
It wasn't that they truly feared Loa's strength. Caro had an ace up his sleeve: with Poseidon in his hands, he could overturn the table whenever he wished. In truth, two recent events had left him no time to deal with Loa.
Today, the third vessel that was supposed to be Pluton had been completed. After the reports on the first two, Caro came to see this one himself.
The underground shipyard blazed with light. Bright lamps lined the walls, turning the dim cavern as bright as day. An enormous, strange-looking warship sat in the U-shaped channel, its metal hull so cold and imposing that a single glance left onlookers shaken.
What a beautiful design!
Even Vegapunk had to admit that the vessel's design and technology surpassed anything he could achieve.
Slender gun turrets sat in semicircular metal mounts. One gunner could sit inside and fire several Cannons at once. The blade-like prow beneath the hull looked remarkably thin, yet gave the ship extraordinary stability. And with enough power, it could reach speeds no other vessel could match.
It was a warship perfected for battle!
But—
"Where is my Pluton?"
Caro's mouth twitched. He seemed not to see the data sheets handed to him.
True, this ship far surpassed every warship and sailing vessel in the world. Even the Steel Warships they had possessed before could only trail behind it.
But it was still just a more advanced warship. Among the Blueprint Vegapunk had been unable to build, there were plenty of models more powerful than this!
