When Poseidon saw Loa, she said, "Looks like I'm in luck." She was referring to the slaughter on another battlefield. If Loa had found her first, he would have been unable to protect the Allied Forces at the other three locations.
Poseidon had endured the agony of tearing her own body apart to create another version of herself, and not merely to deal with Loa. That heart, filled with destruction and cruelty, had never intended to spare anyone else!
Now that Loa was tied down, their fate was sealed.
In the East Blue, on a battlefield that looked like the end of the world.
Loa quickly found Poseidon in the murky seawater by sensing her immense life force. She lay in a trench carved out by the impact, in a miserable state. A deep gash on her back exposed the bone beneath. Loa had torn through her tough dragon scales and muscle, and her blood had dyed a vast stretch of sea red.
At Loa's arrival, Poseidon's muscles trembled, but she still could not stand.
Just as Loa had guessed, the move had broken most of his own bones. Only the Great Dragon's terrifying regenerative power kept him moving. Poseidon, who had taken the blow, was in even worse shape. She lay limp, without a patch of uninjured flesh in sight.
"You're weaker than I imagined, Poseidon!"
Loa beat his wings and stopped before her. The two enormous beasts, one black and one blue, stood in the trench and stared at each other across several hundred meters.
"I believe Ivy wouldn't lie to me, but what I'm seeing isn't what she described. So let me make a bold guess: has Zaku restricted your power?"
"Guh..."
Poseidon opened her mouth, but no words came out. Her bones were still knitting together.
