Poseidon's expression froze when she heard that voice. She would know it anywhere, and she could never mistake that presence!
"How is that possible?!"

"How can you still be alive?!"
Poseidon screamed wildly, spittle flying as she shouted.
That explosion had been more than even her true body could withstand. The Bomb had blown it apart and torn its soul to pieces. It would need her help to gather itself again.
So why was Loa still alive?!
Not only was he alive, there wasn't a scratch on him!
It was as though the Loa who had fought her true body had been someone else entirely!
But Poseidon knew that was impossible. Neither of them had any way to hide from the other's senses. Their bond of blood was unbreakable! The Loa who had fought her in her true body's memories had been the real Loa, through and through!
"Did you split your body too? No, impossible. Your soul is still whole..."
Poseidon's thoughts fell into chaos, her face twisting into the likeness of a vicious ghost. Then she remembered what Loa had just said, and her eyes widened in terror.
"You can resurrect?!!!"
"Congratulations, that's right! But there's no prize!"

Loa beckoned. The Dragon-Slaying Greatsword, which had flown who knew how many miles away, turned into a streak of light and landed in his palm. He swung it, and the space that had only just healed teetered on the brink of collapse again. Not only was Loa unharmed, he had returned to the peak of his strength!
