I'm the guy who posts 5,000 words a day without a stockpile of chapters!
About the updates these past two days, and things like naming the skills in the readers' group: Big Tree just hasn't had time to get to them. It's not that I'm dropping the story.
Wasn't I away on a business trip this weekend? I had it all planned out: I'd post everything when I got back.
But on the train home, I suddenly remembered that June 18 was Father's Day.
I couldn't let that slide, so I borrowed a friend's car and drove two hours back to my hometown.
That's why I haven't posted the group name or the new skills. Was I supposed to haul my desktop computer home with me?
As for readers asking for more updates, and extra chapters for tips...
Honestly, I just don't have the time.
I'm sure plenty of readers know what life is like when you work for a living. Sometimes you don't even get to decide when you start or finish work.
And even when I do get off work, if my coworkers invite me out for a few drinks, I can't exactly refuse.
In fact, I wrote more than ten of the 86 chapters posted so far while Big Tree was drunk.
Two updates a day aren't the most I can manage, but they're the most I can do without disrupting my everyday life.
To put it bluntly, this book really isn't worth quitting a job that pays me over a hundred thousand a year to devote myself to it.
As for rules on extra chapters for tips, there aren't any for now.
