I still owe you an extra update, but I'll post it tomorrow. Who knows what time I'll get off work today? I can't really call it overtime, either. Talking business is work, but it's also part of the routine. Keep the big shots happy, and we make money, right?

"Where did this assassin come from?!"

Arudo growled in fury, a terrifying murderous aura pouring off him.

Just then, the curtain on the seaward side seemed to lift in the night breeze. Moonlight slipped eagerly through the gap.

At last, Arudo could see inside the dining hall.

But one look was enough to drain every ounce of strength from the iron-willed man.

Severed limbs and blood lay scattered across the floor. Bright balloons and streamers were strewn everywhere, their colors a stark contrast to the scarlet blood. Standing there felt like standing in hell.

That shoe over there was Kiron's.

That watch was Lack's.

Those glasses were Chery's.

Arudo stared blankly around the dining hall. One familiar possession after another had been separated from its owner. Or perhaps it hadn't. Who could tell? All that remained were piles of mangled flesh.

The curtain fell, plunging the dining hall back into darkness.

On the dining hall roof, Simon dropped the thread in his hand and waved a yellow flag toward the square.

Loa, serving as their messenger, saw the signal and dialed his Den Den Mushi. "Hello? Minnie? You can pull out now. The Jerome Brothers are almost there."

"Got it."

Outside the dining hall, behind a large tree, Minnie hung up her Den Den Mushi and cast a sympathetic glance toward the building.
