Jango and Fullbody had just thrown down their brooms and were about to give Wuli a good beating. Even if they could not beat him, they could not let him have his way.

"Hey, you two Seaman Recruits." That headache-inducing voice suddenly came from behind them, making both men shudder instinctively.

The two immediately bent down to pick up their brooms, moving as quickly as possible.

Then they exchanged awkward glances. How long had it been? Their movements had already become so practiced.

That old head chef was simply too harsh. He would keep berating them over the slightest mistake, turning them into qualified errand boys in the shortest time possible.

"Wait, that's not right!" The two suddenly remembered that they had been angrily heading off to beat someone up. How had they become so obedient the moment they saw this old man?

This was far too embarrassing, especially with Wuli here. It would be even more humiliating if he found out.

Should they just ignore the old man in front of them and go straight over?

"We're still wearing these errand boy uniforms. It probably wouldn't be appropriate to go over like this. Not only would Wuli laugh at us, but it would also make our superior, Hina, lose face," Fullbody suddenly whispered as he looked at Jango.

Jango inspected Fullbody's clothes, then glanced down at his own. They were not matching outfits; they were standard servant uniforms.

He also lowered his voice. "I think so too."

The old head chef watched the two mutter to each other without knowing what they were saying, completely ignoring him. How infuriating.

"What are you two muttering about? Hurry up and... mmph!" The old head chef's booming voice startled both Jango and Fullbody. They swiftly covered his mouth, then immediately dragged him to an empty corner.

The old head chef's booming voice was simply too conspicuous, even in the noisy dining hall.

Jango and Fullbody began praying that Superior Hina and Wuli had not noticed them.

"Hm?" Hina looked in the direction where Jango and the others had disappeared, a trace of confusion flashing through her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Wuli followed Hina's gaze but found nothing unusual.

"Nothing. I thought I saw Jango and Fullbody just now, but perhaps my eyes were playing tricks on me. Let's continue choosing dishes." Hina shook her head.

Hidden in the corner, Jango and Fullbody let out a sigh of relief, then looked down.

They saw that in their panic, they had accidentally covered the old head chef's nose and mouth, leaving him unable to breathe. His face was flushed red, and his eyes seemed to be rolling back, frightening them into quickly letting go.

"Cough, cough, cough!" The old head chef first broke into a violent coughing fit, then greedily gulped down air as if he had been granted a new life.

His two mustaches trembled continuously with rage. Pointing a shaking finger at them, he said in shock and anger, "You... you two Seaman Recruits!"

Fullbody rubbed his hands together and said apologetically, "Sorry about that. What did the head chef need us for just now?"

"I only told you to go to the second floor and clean up the tableware. What madness were you two up to?" The old head chef was still furious. "I've remembered everything you two did today. You'll suffer for it later."

With that, the old head chef flicked his sleeve and left. As they watched his departing back—

Fullbody opened his mouth and stared wide-eyed at Jango for a while before saying helplessly, "What do we do? If he complains and it reaches Superior Hina, we'll be in serious trouble."

"It's fine." Jango recovered his composure from his initial panic.

"Do you have an idea? Let's hear it." Fullbody asked.

"Just make him forget what happened," Jango said coolly, adjusting his heart-shaped glasses.

"Oh, good idea! I almost forgot you have that ability." Fullbody's eyes lit up. His friend was known as the "Hypnotist." How could he not have a few tricks to handle such a small matter?

"Then I'm going." Jango said.

"Go on. I'll wait for your good news." Fullbody watched Jango disappear around the corner after the old head chef.

Not long after, Hypnotist Jango came walking back toward him with his back turned, one hand holding his hat and the other braced at his crotch, moving in a moonwalk.

When he reached Fullbody's side, he lifted his hat. Meeting Fullbody's questioning gaze, he snapped his fingers and smiled confidently. "Done!"

Fullbody sighed in relief and could not help smiling as well. The two slung their arms around each other's shoulders and headed happily toward the second floor with light steps, ready to work.
