After parting ways with Wuli, Jewelry Bonney followed the scent of alcohol drifting through the air to the Town tavern.

The moment she entered, Bonney froze and stopped in her tracks.

The tavern was full of Marines. That brought Wuli's earlier words to mind. He had probably been telling the truth.

"What's a kid doing in a tavern? Go play at home. This isn't a place for you," said a strangely dressed man with a long nose, looking at the little girl blocking his way.

He hadn't recognized Bonney in her child form, and she quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

But she was annoyed, too. That creepy man had looked down on her and even lectured her.

She clenched her fists. If the timing hadn't been so bad, she would have sent that stupid long nose flying.

Long Nose's face darkened. A little orange-haired girl dressed as a waitress saw him standing there in a daze. As she passed him, she whispered, "Usopp, quit spacing out and get back to work."

Then a Marine patron called for her, and she hurried away, giving Long Nose a meaningful look before she left.

Bonney watched with a snicker, then said, "Looks like you don't believe me. Want to have a contest? Whoever drinks less pays. Dare to try?"
