"Captain! Something's happened—something big!"
Ye Chen was still half asleep when he heard someone shouting beside his ear.
Then he felt himself tumble off the bed. He opened his eyes and, furious, shouted at Lucci, "Let go of me! I'm your captain!"
Lucci had called out several times, but Ye Chen hadn't woken up. Rather than waste more effort, Lucci had simply dragged him off the bed like a dead dog.
"You're awake... Then hurry up."
Lucci let go when he saw Ye Chen was awake, but he showed no sign of apologizing. If anything, he looked as though Ye Chen ought to thank him.
Ye Chen curled his lip and snorted. He couldn't be bothered arguing over something so small. Hearing a commotion on the Deck, he quickened his pace and ran out.
As for the Crew Members and their captain being so informal with each other, that was nothing unusual.
Back at Whiskey Peak, Usopp and the others had gotten roaring drunk. In the end, they'd been dragged along the ground like dead dogs during the escape. When they woke up, Sanji and Usopp had no idea what had happened and wouldn't stop complaining. Luffy asked Nami, "Aren't you going to explain it to them?"
Nami dusted off her hands and walked over with a smile. "I already did."
Luffy turned to look. Sanji and Usopp had both been beaten black and blue.
During the escape from Enies Lobby, Luffy had been too weak to move but had insisted on fighting. Zoro and Sanji had stretched his half-dead body out to block the Marines' cannon fire, scaring Usopp half to death.
Ye Chen and his companions had few rules between them, either. Lucci in particular had never shown Ye Chen anything resembling "respect."
"Who is that?"
