Once everyone had been dealt with, Doflamingo hurriedly ordered his men to wipe away the blood.
Then he picked up a Den Den Mushi and contacted Monet. "Monet, bring a few people to East Bright Island. Oh, and have Vergo get some good explosives. Heh, heh, heh! This should be fun."
"Yes, Young Master!"
Doflamingo had not said what he planned to do, so Monet had no idea he was targeting Ye Chen.
If she had known, there was no telling how she would have felt.
After all, she and Ye Chen had had a rather unpleasant encounter at the Auction House in Sabaody.
Finding a few people was no trouble for Monet. Doflamingo had businesses all over the world.
He was the Joker of the Underworld, with an astonishing network of connections on both sides of the law.
The Auction House Disco had once run was just one of so many businesses that even Doflamingo could not count them all.
Monet soon found a dozen or so helpers. Doflamingo had them pose as the Madman Pirates and handle the deal with Ye Chen. He also hid the explosives Monet brought beneath the Treasure Tree Adam.
"Young Master, this tree is incredibly valuable. It would be a shame if the explosion destroyed it."
Monet could not understand why the explosives had been placed against the Treasure Tree Adam.
"Heh, heh, heh... This tree may be precious, but we have more. If it blows Ye Chen's head off, losing the tree will be worth it."
"Ye Chen?"
At the sound of the name she had cursed day and night, Monet froze.
It was as if a bolt of lightning had struck her.
"Heh, heh, heh... Now that would be quite a sight. I can hardly wait."
