Ye Chen had not expected Franky to lead him straight to Blueno's bar.
Ye Chen shook his head. Looks like he gets along with Blueno. Too bad he doesn't know Blueno and the others are secretly investigating him and Iceburg.
"Oh? Do you two know each other?"
Blueno looked surprised to see Franky and Ye Chen walk into the bar together.
"Yeah."
Ye Chen nodded. "We just met. Drinks are on me tonight. Two barrels of Bolga beer, and some grilled skewers. Make them extra spicy."
The world of One Piece served almost nothing but Western food, which Ye Chen found hard to get used to. After all, he came from China.
Fantastical as this world was, it had no Chinese food. If Ye Chen went to a restaurant and asked for fish-fragrant shredded pork, kung pao chicken, boiled fish, tomato and eggs, hot-and-sour shredded potatoes, or braised eggplant, people would think he was a monster.
Blueno agreed and brought over the food and beer himself. The bar was busy, so after keeping them company for a little while, he went back to work.
"Franky, didn't you tell Iceburg about that?"
As they clinked glasses, Ye Chen leaned forward and asked in a voice only Franky could hear.
Franky shook his head. "I did."
"Hm?"
Ye Chen frowned in surprise. If Iceburg already knew Ye Chen had taken the plans, why was he still willing to build him a pirate ship?

"I've learned a fair bit about your past, but you know I have to be careful with that thing. Iceburg and I were both Tom's apprentices. Of course I had to discuss it with him. He said you're not on the government's side, at least. He figured you wouldn't do anything reckless with it,
