"What? Captain, you're asking me to get myself killed?"
Qiu Ze wasn't stupid. If he obeyed that damn order, he would die horribly.
Fine sand poured through the hourglass as the seconds ticked away. Seeing Qiu Ze still hesitate, Billy spat in his face. "You idiot! Didn't you hear my order?"
"Captain, I don't want to die either. To hell with your orders. I'm done."
At this point, Qiu Ze no longer cared. He shifted his arm and found he could still move it. He yanked a dagger from his waist and slashed his leg, gritting his teeth against the pain. But he had made up his mind. If no one else cared whether he lived or died, he would save himself.
"You..."
Billy watched Qiu Ze grimace and carve a piece of flesh from his own leg. Accustomed to ordering his men around and beating them whenever he pleased, Billy broke out in a cold sweat.
For all his exalted status as a Celestial Dragon, he was terrified now. His face turned green. The other eight men glanced over, pretended they had seen nothing, and kept fighting Kuro.
"No!"
Billy's cry changed nothing. Qiu Ze placed the flesh he had cut off onto the Balance Pan before him, and the scales tipped sharply.
With a piercing roar, the Chainsaw moved toward Billy. But the piece of flesh clearly wasn't enough. The Chainsaw soon stopped on its own. To escape the trap, Qiu Ze would have to cut off more flesh and put it on the Balance Pan.
"You! Poppy, Raymond, get over here..."
Billy was on the verge of falling apart. He had brought men in to kill Ye Chen, never imagining he would be caught in the trap himself.
"Captain, this guy's too strong."
