At the far end of the Nine-Layer Demon Tower, Ye Chen's crew and Diana's were locked in a fierce battle.
Stone had been caught completely off guard and turned into a little ghost early on. Now he had switched sides and was charging straight at Ye Chen.
Ye Chen roared, his voice booming like a thunderclap. A fierce wind rose from the ground without warning. His eyes flashed, his presence turned overwhelming, and Conqueror's Haki burst from him unbidden.
Though Stone was now Diana's subordinate, he still trembled from head to toe, terror written across his face.
While Stone stood frozen, Ye Chen leaped in front of him and struck his Tanzhong acupoint. Stone stopped dead, unable to move.
A chilling wind swept through. The atmosphere turned eerie and terrifying, and even the sky suddenly darkened.
A white figure flashed before Ye Chen's eyes. An instant later, an exquisitely beautiful face appeared right in front of him.
"Hm? Wow..." Seeing Diana up close for the first time, Ye Chen's eyes lit up and his breathing grew heavy.
It wasn't their first meeting, but she had been too far away for him to see clearly last time. Now Diana stood less than a meter from him. If he reached out, he could touch her.
Diana's face was fair and smooth, flawless as jade. With arched brows, rosy cheeks, and cool, almond-shaped eyes, she looked like a fairy descended from the heavens. Yet she radiated an icy chill. Even so, Ye Chen couldn't contain his excitement.
Diana's long sleeves fluttered as she reached for Ye Chen. She was sure he couldn't escape her grasp, but just as she was about to catch him, he suddenly drifted backward.
