With a sickening thud, Ye Chen drove his sword straight through Jack, pinning him to a tree trunk.

Jack ignored the wound and struggled free, even as Oto sliced away chunks of his flesh.

Ye Chen shook his head in disbelief. The Ghost-Ghost Fruit's power was terrifying. It had turned a living man into something like a walking corpse, numb to pain and unaware of who he was. All Jack knew was to keep fighting until he dropped dead from exhaustion.

Ye Chen sighed.

He had no choice but to swing a fist into Jack's temple, knocking him out on the spot.

"Help!"

Nami had been caught again. Her captor held her high overhead, ready to throw her down.

Ye Chen sprang up at once. He caught Nami as Rakshasa released her and sent Rakshasa flying with a kick.

"That was close! Too close!"

Nami's face was streaked with tears. After one fright after another, she was crying her eyes out.

She clung to Ye Chen like a koala, her soft arms locked around his neck. "It was so scary! Ye Chen, don't leave me. I'm scared!"

Nami had always been timid, and this time their enemies were Demons and ghosts. Even someone far braver would have struggled to take it.

Ye Chen supported her by the backside, rubbing and squeezing as he comforted her, shamelessly taking advantage of the moment. Nami's fighting ability might have been negligible, but her figure was developing nicely. She felt soft in his hands, and Ye Chen enjoyed it immensely.
