Before dawn, Vivi got up and tried to sneak back to her room. Everything had happened so suddenly, and she didn't want the others to know. Ye Chen respected her wishes. But just as she reached her door, before she could push it open, a woman rushed out of the room next to hers.
The woman had much the same idea: slip away early, before anyone noticed.
"You? Miss Monday?" The two women stared at each other, both stunned.
Vivi pointed to the room behind Miss Monday. "You and Igaram?"
"Vivi, please keep this a secret for me, okay?"
Miss Monday had always been bold and forthright. She was powerfully built and muscular, with a wild, blunt manner. But now even she blushed. She had just come out of Igaram's room; no one had to guess what had happened inside.
Ever since Ye Chen had tricked them into being infected with the Gu Worm of Love, Miss Monday and Igaram had grown much closer.
Igaram still had his reservations, but he was no match for Miss Monday's forceful ways. The night before, she had marched straight into his room.
At first, Igaram had resisted with everything he had. Miss Monday had no patience for arguing and simply overpowered him. Before long, though, things had turned harmonious.
Miss Monday had wanted to leave before dawn so no one would see her. As luck would have it, she ran straight into Vivi, who was sneaking around for exactly the same reason.
