He deliberately clenched his fist. His knuckles cracked like popping beans, and veins writhed across his thick arm like coiling serpents, radiating savage power.

Wrapped in a black cloak and brimming with wild arrogance, Blackbeard looked down at Sadi and the others like a devil from hell. His presence loomed over them like a mountain, so oppressive they could barely breathe.

Lafitte and the others looked just as smug. Their faces showed undisguised contempt, as though Sadi and her companions were nothing but fools who had no idea how outmatched they were.

They were mantises trying to stop a cart.

"Blackbeard, you dared betray the government. They won't let you get away with it."

Sadi bit her lip. Whether from anger or fear, her face flushed red, then turned pale, and fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.

Blackbeard snorted. His greedy, domineering gaze roamed over her, and an appreciative click rose from his dry throat.

Sadi's tight red leather outfit showed off every curve of her striking figure. Wild blond hair hid almost half her face; her skin was snow-white and her lips vivid red. Even when she spoke in anger, her voice was so alluring it could make a listener go weak at the knees.

Blackbeard licked his lips, his eyes suddenly burning with desire. With an arrogant laugh, he strode straight toward Sadi. Her brows shot up, and she snapped her whip at him.
