The poison seeped rapidly through their skin and into their bodies. They rolled in agony, their faces contorted almost beyond recognition. Veins bulged on their foreheads, and pain twisted their features into frightening knots.

Seeing the Decalvan Brothers poisoned and unable to fight, the nearby pirates flew into a rage. They brandished their weapons and charged Magellan.
A savage wave of venom surged toward them in reply.
Magellan was not among the very strongest, but his Devil Fruit power made short work of these pirates under the Whitebeard Pirates. His Venom Dragon rampaged through their ranks, dropping them in swathes before they could get close. They howled and screamed as the poison ate through their flesh. The weaker ones soon died in agony, gripped by despair and fear.

A fist struck from afar. Whitebeard had seen his comrades writhing under Magellan's poison, and in his fury, he showed no mercy.
By the time Magellan sensed the danger, it was too late to dodge. He hastily crossed his fists before his chest, hoping to lessen the blow. It was useless. Even Admiral Fujitora could not withstand Whitebeard's fist at full strength; Magellan had no chance.

Despite the distance, the shock wave from the fierce blast of air sent Magellan flying. He coughed up a mouthful of blood before he even hit the ground.
Cough, cough, cough.
He landed hard and had barely begun to rise when Diamond Jozu charged in and slammed a fist into his chest.

Two ribs broke on the spot. Magellan skidded backward
