Seeing Vander Decken left King Neptune furious, but also wary. Over the years, he had tried everything and sent countless people after him, all to no avail.
Ye Chen, however, looked perfectly at ease. To him, Vander Decken was little more than an ant.
Ye Chen's mockery made Vander Decken's face flush with rage. He had spent years on Fish-Man Island, and no one had ever dared make a joke at his expense.
Ye Chen gave a cold smile and crooked a finger at him. "Come on!"
With a strange cry, Vander Decken surged forward like a gust of wind. As soon as he drew close, he threw a punch straight at Ye Chen's face. Ye Chen watched him with a smile, as though enjoying the antics of a ridiculous clown.
When Ye Chen made no move to dodge, Vander Decken grew even angrier and put still more force behind the blow. Just as it was about to land, Ye Chen leaned slightly to one side. He did not even move his feet, yet the punch missed him.
As Vander Decken tried to pull back his fist, Ye Chen struck him hard beneath the armpit, a particularly vulnerable spot. Thud! Vander Decken screamed, and his arm fell limp.
Ye Chen curled his fingers into a claw, seized Vander Decken's wrist, and yanked. "Tendon-Separating Bone-Distorting Hand!"
The tendons in Vander Decken's left hand snapped.
Vander Decken howled in pain. His face twisted even further, and after staggering a few steps, he swung his right fist wildly at Ye Chen.
"I'll kill you!"
Roaring with bloodshot eyes, Vander Decken slammed his fist into Ye Chen.
Thud!
Ye Chen did not dodge. The blow struck him squarely, and Princess Shirahoshi clapped both hands over her mouth. "Lord Ye Chen, look out!"
Ye Chen
