After fighting Ye Chen for so long, Colt was panting hard, his graying beard in disarray. Fighting barehanded was awkward for a swordsman, and it had greatly diminished his strength. Seeing that everyone else had retreated into the Banquet Hall, Colt turned to leave as well. Ye Chen rushed over and sneered. "Trying to leave? It won't be that easy. Finger Pistol!"
Before the words had left his mouth, he jabbed his right index finger at Colt's back. Colt hurriedly dodged to the side, then kicked off the ground and leaped away. He had no intention of staying here to fight Ye Chen. He would not last much longer.
Ye Chen launched a kick. "Lion's Might: Ground Roll!"
A deafening boom rang out, and the entire corridor shook violently. The bluestone floor on both sides of Colt suddenly surged upward, then became five snarling stone lions that rushed to swallow him whole.
Without a sword, Colt could only throw punches and kicks to fend off the approaching lions. Ye Chen pushed off with his toes, moving so fast he left only an afterimage, and lunged at Colt. As he closed in, his hand shot toward Colt's chest like lightning. Riiip! A piece of Colt's robe came away. Colt looked down, his face flushing crimson with humiliation and rage.
Ye Chen had grabbed the exact center of the left side of his chest. The round hole in his robe looked ridiculous—and deeply embarrassing.
Ye Chen lightly raised his right hand to his lips and blew on it with a smug air. The strip of cloth fluttered away. Before long, a matching hole appeared on the right side of Colt's chest. Ye Chen nodded. "It looks better when it's symmetrical!"
