Although Ye Chen was still sweating, not a drop reached the floor. Soft, petal-pale arms wiped it away, gently catching the sweat wherever it appeared.
After a while, Ye Chen went back to his room for a cold shower and a change of clothes. Since it was his own room, he saw no need to be careful. He did not even shut the door properly. He stripped off his clothes in no time, then hummed an unfamiliar tune as he stepped into the bathroom.
A little later, Perona pushed the door open. She had not expected Ye Chen to be bathing and was about to turn away when he walked out of the bathroom naked.
Perona flushed bright red. She hurriedly covered her face and fled. Ye Chen shook his head and sighed helplessly.
"Seriously, can't I even take a shower in peace? I'm the one who got seen, you know!"
Ye Chen could not be bothered to dwell on something so trivial. He dressed and went up on deck. Perona acted as though nothing had happened, but after one quick glance at him, she guiltily looked away.
The sky was clear, with white clouds drifting overhead. The slightly damp sea breeze felt wonderfully refreshing.
Stone was fishing, Lucci was keeping watch from the mast, and Zoro was training in the gym on the second level. Nami sat quietly, sipping juice and enjoying the gentle, peaceful sea breeze...
