"Who the hell are you people?"
His voice was almost a sob. Law squeezed his heart, and the man in black howled in agony.
"Shouldn't we be asking you that? Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Trafalgar Law loosened his grip slightly. The man in black hesitated, and Law tightened his fingers again, sending him to his knees.
"Please! I'll tell you everything! Just don't squeeze it again. You'll kill me!" he begged, his face drained of all color.
"Glad you understand." Law gave a cold smile and relaxed his fingers. The man wiped the sweat from his forehead and hurriedly replied, "My name is Bruce. I'm the vice captain of the Dream-Chasing Pirates."
"Dream-Chasing? What a pretentious name!" Ye Chen laughed.
"I'm not lying. Since we came here, we've helped many people realize their dreams. That's a fact. Any one of them can vouch for us."
"Enough nonsense. You expect me to believe that? I want to become the Pirate King. Can you make that happen?" Ye Chen asked disdainfully.
He had expected Bruce to be speechless, but Bruce replied, "Maybe. Perhaps our captain could help you. He wants to become the Pirate King himself, though, so even if you take a number, you'll have to wait until after he does."
"Get lost. Quit feeding me that crap." Ye Chen punched him. Even with his heart in Law's hand, the man was still an irritating loudmouth.
He said what he should and what he shouldn't, as though he had no idea how close he was to dying.
"Fine, I'll stop." Bruce finally quieted down. His nonstop chatter had left Ye Chen's ears ringing.
Ye Chen asked, "You're a Devil Fruit user, aren't you? Hiding here like this, you can't be up to any good. What's your
