"What? Who did you say was here?"
Queen turned around, surprise flashing in her eyes. Thinking she had misheard, she grabbed Rete by the shoulders.
"Sister Feng, it really is him! There's no mistake. Jorden from the First Division has already taken his men to the shore!"
"It really is him? Could Ye Chen have come to propose to me?"
The more Queen thought about it, the more excited she became. She propped up her chin and smiled dreamily.
Rete, who had brought the news, was baffled by her reaction. "Sister Feng, Ye Chen is here to challenge Lord Kaido. He never said anything about proposing to you."
Ever since Ye Chen had pulled down her pants last time, Queen had been hopelessly lovesick. She spent her days in a daze, letting her imagination run wild.
She had convinced herself that Ye Chen was madly in love with her. She often pictured the two of them clinging to each other, hopelessly entwined.
In truth, there was nothing between them.
Queen felt so restless she could hardly stand it. After pacing around the room a few times, she slipped away to the shore without telling Kaido.
Lucci and Jorden were locked in a fierce fight. Lucci was clearly much stronger, but Jorden kept redirecting his attacks. Only half the damage reached Jorden, effectively cutting Lucci's strength in half.
That was why the fight remained so close, with neither able to break away.
"Ye Chen!"
Queen called out excitedly when she saw him. Ye Chen flinched and looked toward the shore, a wry smile on his face. Why did it have to be her? Why's she saying my name like we're close? I hardly know her.
"Oh, it's you!"
Ye Chen gave her a perfunctory greeting.
"Did you come to see me?"
