In the sealed, oppressive Shadow Space, nothing was more reassuring than seeing a living creature—and it was Anfuni, no less.

Li Ziran had been driven half-mad by the confinement. Even he did not know how many times he had bounced across this hill, nor how much time had passed.

This extreme environment was enough to make anyone lose their mind.

The instant Anfuni swayed, he rushed forward and grabbed her delicate hand.

A miracle occurred. She had not turned wooden as before; she was still flesh and blood. That proved she really should be Anfuni.

"Anfuni, what happened?"

Li Ziran asked impatiently, but received no response. Anfuni stiffly raised her head and stared blankly at him, her two pupils seeming as though they had been embedded in their sockets.

This Anfuni was somewhat different. Her mind was as clumsy as a machine's, yet even so, Li Ziran guarded her as if he had found a priceless treasure, hoping a miracle might still happen.
