The wonderful night was finally broken by the first light of dawn. The hardworking elves woke up and began dealing with a whole night's worth of vomit.
The clatter of bottles being cleared away echoed across the square. So much had been drunk that a small mountain of bottles piled up in just half an hour.
Across the square, the elf servants could be seen hard at work.
Aimier and Li Ziran had stayed awake all night. The fragrance of fruit wine still lingered on her, stretching from where they were to the other end of the operating room. They had moved to several different spots during the night.
She had never been so exhausted. Her body was so weak that it seemed a single autumn breeze would leave her with a fever.
She was sleepy, but she could not sleep. Day had broken, and she was clearheaded again. She had spent the entire night inside the nature space Li Ziran provided, but less and less natural essence remained to sustain it.
Once the essence ran out, the elemental tide would devour her without leaving even a scrap behind.
She was not afraid of death, but she was reluctant to let go now that this man was beside her.
"Will I die right away?" Aimier asked anxiously. In truth, she did not want an answer. She only wanted some comfort.
"No!" Li Ziran answered firmly.
"I can't return to the Oak Space. The Oak Ward has already been transferred. Without it, Mother won't spare me. She might imprison me for the rest of my life. I don't want to lose this," Aimier said honestly.
"Would you leave your mother for me?" Li Ziran asked softly. "Aimier, you need to decide that yourself. I can guarantee that you'll live perfectly well
