Aimier closed her eyes, carefully sensing the transformation of faith power within her.
It was a very peculiar sensation.
The inside of her body was almost entirely intangible, as impossible to grasp as the mind, yet this power truly existed, flowing along with her awareness.
The faith space seemed to have forcibly split her consciousness apart. Now she could feel this power merging into her body, blending with her natural energy.
They were tightly intertwined, yet distinctly separate.
It was a wondrous state.
Cracks slowly opened in the protective barrier, and the elemental tide devoured what little natural essence remained. Aimier held her breath. In the past, her body would have weathered away completely under the elemental tide by now.
She was afraid, having experienced its terrifying consumption before.
But this time was different.
When the faint currents formed by the elemental tide fell upon her, there was none of the corrosion she had imagined, nor the slightest pain, only a gentle spring breeze brushing her face.
The instant she touched the elemental tide, a thin membrane naturally condensed over her skin.
The membrane was thin, like a film of water that seemed ready to break at a touch, yet this inconspicuous layer kept the venomous elemental tide outside.
Pure natural elements still circulated within her, but the power formed from faith was wrapping around them, entirely by instinct.
That membrane was like a protective barrier formed against her skin.
She lowered her head to examine her exquisite body, yet could see no trace of energy.
She was still herself, only now she was completely exposed to the elemental tide.
It was hard to believe. The Primordial Elves had tried every possible means to enter the Grand Plan Continent without success, yet a human had now accomplished it.
No!
