At the same time, Yin Ge had just stood up, preparing to look for Gu Jin.
With a sharp crack, the door opened!
Then it swiftly shut again.
Yin Ge froze and looked toward the door.
A short man and a foreigner stood there, staring at her as though she were prey.
The foreigner's hair was returning to normal in an impossibly long, flat state.
How the door had been opened was self-evident!
The short man adjusted his glasses. They instantly seemed to come alive, emitting a flash of white light that scanned Yin Ge from head to toe.
"Codename: Peeping. An Observation Persona?" he said coldly. "No offensive power at all! What a piece of trash!"
"We went to all that trouble to follow her, and she only has an Observation Persona!"
"But luckily, she brought the Binding Persona with her. Our trip wasn't wasted!"
"Hurry up and do it! There are still eight or nine groups watching outside. End this quickly, kill her, bind her Personhood, and head back to headquarters!"
"Fine! An Observation Persona is still better than nothing!"
Hearing this, Yin Ge instantly understood that these two were also people with Personhoods.
The foreigner's Personhood was most likely related to his hair.
The short man's Personhood could likely inspect information about other Personhoods, including the Personhood information bound inside Sage.
But they apparently had not detected her control ability?
No matter what, these two were people with Personhoods. They had come for her!
They meant trouble!
There was no point overthinking it!
Yin Ge swiftly grabbed a cup beside her and threw it at them.
Then she pulled out her phone and was about to press the emergency button to ask Qin Li for help.
To her surprise, the two men easily dodged her attack. The foreigner even tossed a shoe at Yin Ge in return.
Yin Ge could not dodge in time. Her wrist was struck, and she let go in pain.
Bang!
Her phone hit the floor.
Yin Ge bent down to pick it up, but the foreigner flicked his hair, and a golden hair whip appeared out of thin air in his hand.
With a flick of the whip, he directly wrapped up Yin Ge's hand.
In an instant, every strand of hair rushed to pierce her wrist, drawing thin streams of blood.
At the same time, the whip split in two, swiftly scooped up the phone from the floor, and threw it out the window.
Gritting her teeth, Yin Ge endured the agonizing pain and drew her dagger, slashing at the hair whip.
But the hair was as hard as iron. She could not cut it at all.
Damn it—before Yin Ge could react, the whip dragged her straight toward the door.
The force was immense. She could not break free, and in the blink of an eye, the foreigner had pulled her to the doorway.
Golden hair slithered up her arm, then tightly gathered around her neck and lifted her into the air.
"I thought the White Nighters here were supposed to be impressive. Turns out they're nothing special!" the foreigner sneered.
Click!
The short man knocked the sunglasses off Yin Ge's face.
"So it really is her eyes." His eyes shone with the excitement of a hunter spotting prey. "I knew the information my Personhood gave me couldn't be wrong!"
"Stop talking nonsense!" The foreigner frowned. "Bind the Personhood on her, now!"
The Binding Persona!?
No one understood the consequences of having one's Personhood bound better than Yin Ge.
She would die!
At that thought, she struggled desperately, but it was useless. Her feet rose farther and farther from the ground until she was completely lifted into the air.
At that moment, the short man placed his right hand over the left side of his chest, and Yin Ge instantly sensed a Law ability about to activate.
Sage!?
No, it was not Sage. It was something else capable of binding Personhoods!
No, I can't die—Yin Ge used every ounce of strength she had, pulling out the mirror she had long been gripping in her hand and raising it before her eyes.
At the brink of life and death, her survival instinct left her no time to care whether she would be consumed by her Personhood.
She had to use her Personhood!
But the very next moment, golden hair mercilessly covered the mirror's surface.
Then it crushed the mirror into fragments.
"Hmph!" The foreigner snorted. "Trying to pull a trick? As long as I'm here, you won't be able to use your Personhood today!"
But as he spoke, he saw Yin Ge suddenly raise her head.
Subconsciously, he followed her gaze upward.
Then he saw a mirror on the uppermost part of the wall.
"Not good!" he shouted.
But it was already too late.
The moment Yin Ge had returned home, she had made preparations, placing mirrors in several special spots around the house.
As long as she did not look at them voluntarily, but only looked when necessary, she would be able to use her Personhood!
A surging force poured forth, and a blood-red eye instantly appeared in the mirror.
Yin Ge saw the short man in the mirror, and she saw the foreigner as well.
The power deep within her mind instantly surged toward the two men.
But just as it was about to reach them, she felt a layer of resistance.
Their Personhoods were repelling Yin Ge's Peeping and Control Persona!
But it was useless!
An even greater force rose from Yin Ge's consciousness, breaking through the foreigner's Personhood defenses first.
The foreigner instantly sensed that something was wrong. "What's happening? Something is very wrong with my body!"
The short man frowned. "It's only an Observation Persona. It can only observe. There's nothing to fear—"
Squelch!
The sound of something sharp piercing flesh abruptly cut him off.
The short man looked down at his abdomen in disbelief.
The golden hair whip had plunged into his flesh, blood streaming down its length.
"H-How is this possible?" The short man's eyes widened.
The foreigner was equally shocked and terrified. "I don't know! I don't know! I can't control my body anymore!"
The two men looked up at the same time and saw Yin Ge's left eye blazing with red light.
Yet a faint, almost imperceptible smile appeared at the corner of Yin Ge's lips.
She could no longer feel any pain. There was only one thought in her mind—Kill them!
Yin Ge's own consciousness held the upper hand. With a thought, the foreigner's hair whip split in two and plunged into his own abdomen.
Why only the abdomen?
Because the remnants of Yin Ge's consciousness told her that she could not let these two die here.
Otherwise, a new Son of Heaven Game would erupt, dragging her in and implicating other innocent people as well!
With that in mind, Yin Ge swiftly searched through her mind via the mirror for a suitable location.
This was the place!
She saw a remote, deserted location, and another thought crossed her mind.
The foreigner grabbed the short man and rushed out the door.
In only a few moments, they had arrived at the place Yin Ge had envisioned.
Her left eye blazed with red light. The foreigner and the short man, two kilometers away, were instantly pierced through the heart by the golden hair whip.
The foreigner and the short man slowly collapsed to the ground.
Their eyes were wide open, filled with deep confusion and disbelief.
They could not understand why an utterly ordinary Observation Persona had cost them their lives.
With the crisis over, Yin Ge's body suddenly went limp, and she fell to the floor.
She desperately tried to pull back her gaze, but her eyes still instinctively stared at the mirror, unable to look away for a long time.
The immense pressure caused every blood vessel in her eyeballs to burst, and blood gushed out.
Pain!!
"No, it's still not safe enough! That man just said there are others outside who want to kill me! In that case—"
Yin Ge pressed the emergency button on her phone while forcing herself to stand, opening her bleeding eyes.
The next moment, countless mirrors along the streets revealed one scarlet, eerie eye after another.
