Background

Luo Xuan transmigrated into the Douluo Continent and was born into a village family. A few months after his birth, Tang Hao annihilated the village and his parents with a hammer strike. His parents concealed him underground, allowing him to survive until Yue Guan found and rescued him. The residual force of Tang Hao’s attack left Luo Xuan gravely injured and weak throughout childhood. 1

Yue Guan brought Luo Xuan to Spirit Hall and raised him as an adopted child. At six, Luo Xuan awakened his martial soul in Spirit City: a pair of crystalline hands and only Level 3 Innate Soul Power. He remained outwardly polite while being ridiculed by the other children, but privately resolved to gain enough strength to avenge his family. 1

He is highly calculating and treats foreknowledge as a strategic resource. He fabricates believable Future Videos, recruits members likely to benefit him, turns Ning Fengzhi’s interest in Whale Rubber into a partnership, and later uses his apparent vulnerability to lure Gu Rong into Bibi Dong’s ambush. 2 7 20 21

Luo Xuan and Bibi Dong exploit the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s fear of his growth by leaking news of his second soul-ring hunt. Ning Fengzhi sends Gu Rong to assassinate Luo Xuan, believing him to be guarded only by a Soul Douluo. 20 21

Bibi Dong reveals herself during the ambush and kills Gu Rong. Luo Xuan then expels Ning Rongrong from the Chat Group and sends Gu Rong’s corpse back to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as a warning. 22 23
